Sweet Treat Housewarming Gift

I took a twist on one of my past posts to make an even easier and more affordable housewarming gift. Just M&Ms and a printable. It cost less than $5 and only took minutes to put together!

A few months ago I featured this same printable with homemade baked goods. This time around, I was squeezed for time - like running out the door and remembered that I should probably bring a housewarming gift!

Valentine Heart Candy Made with Christmas Baking Leftovers

Looking for a way to get rid of your Christmas leftovers? These candy hearts are a great way to make a mint chocolate Valentine's treat while using up candy canes and chocolate candy coating.

Cover a baking sheet with wax paper. Place two candy canes on the wax paper in a heart shape. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and pour into the heart shape. I crushed a broken candy cane to sprinkle on top. Let cool until chocolate is firm and remove from wax paper.
