Easy, Cheesy Valentines Day Gifts

Other than coming up with a Halloween costume, I find that Valentines Day is the next best holiday for creativity, and I gladly accept the challenge of coming up with a homemade gift to show Blake how much I care about him. They are usually really cheesy but fortunately, he appreciates the thought and effort.

Here are some past favorites:
  1. An army of loveI got this idea from Cher at Love Actually. I bought a package of army men, attached small notes with things I love about him and placed them all in a container with a label reading Army of Love. It was perfect for my former soilder.

  2. Thinking about you white board
This is really easy. I just took a photo, added a thought bubble with photo-editing software such as Photoshop and put the image in an inexpensive frame. You simply add messages with a dry erase markers. (Note: Make sure the frame has a glass covering. Dry erase markers will not always wipe off on plastic.)

  3. Date of the Month ClubI liked this so much that Blake is getting this for a second year in a row. All you have to do is make a card detailing a date for each month of the year. The dates don't need to be extravagant. We went on bike rides, carved pumpkins and homemade pizza.
